    Beaches 

Ferragudo is renowned for it's sandy beach retreats. Secluded, these beaches with their own cliff top walks are a must for all.

• Praia Grande - This is the longest beach in Ferragudo, stretching along the rivers edge and overlooking the marina of Praia da Rocha on the opposite side of the River Arade.
• Praia Pintadinho - This beautiful, secluded cliff edge beach is found just after the Hotel Casabela. Unlike Praia Grande, this is a small beach alongside the sea itself where the local villages fish along the cliff tops.
• Praia Canarais - Another small beautiful, secluded beach, with it's high cliff top walks, when the tide is out try and find the beach cave.
